Perú Efrain Carhuallocllo
Vignette · Washed Gesha
$25
The one he called one of the best he's had in a while. Extended-fermentation washed Gesha, the splurge bag. Light, floral, delicate. This is the bag to special-occasion.

Golden Key
Vignette · Medium House Blend
$17
His everyday staple from Vignette. Medium roast, forgiving, plays nice with milk. Cheapest of the three and the one to keep on rotation.

The Natural
Black & White · Raleigh NC
$22
The "B&W Natural" he keeps around. Different roaster from Vignette — natural process, red fruit and chocolate. Two of your recipes are dialed for this one (hot Chemex + the iced flash brew).

Worth knowing: Vignette gives free US shipping at $40+, and roasts Mon/Wed/Fri (order by noon ET the day before). B&W roasts Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri, ships next roast day. Both roast-to-order, so a Gesha + Golden Key together clears free shipping and lands fresh.

How to actually order (his workflow)

  1. Pick the bag + grind. On the product page hit "Choose options." Set whole bean if you grind at home, or pick your method (pour over / Chemex) for ground. Whole bean ground fresh always tastes better.
  2. Match roast date to brew date. Both roasters roast-to-order. He flagged "things with the roast date" — natural process and Gesha taste best rested 7–14 days off roast, so don't brew the bag the day it lands. Let it sit a week.
  3. Stack the cart to free shipping. Vignette is free at $40+. Golden Key + Efrain in one order clears it.
  4. His AI trick: a recipe is just method + ratio + pour schedule. Send me any "Chemex" recipe and ask to convert it to V60 (or scale 30g down to 18g), and I'll rework the pours and timings so the math stays right.
